NASA pushes to get more names in for chip headed to Jupiter's moon

NASA is urging those who want to participate to enter in their names before a fast-approaching deadline in a project to send a chip with the data to one of Jupiter's moons.  The space agency says potential participants have until Dec. 31 to have names engraved onto a chip that will make the 1.8 billion-mile journey to explore Europa, one of the ringed planet's moons. The Russian branch of the Catholic Church on Wednesday called for the restoration of a dismantled memorial to an archbishop who was a victim of Stalin-era repression. Authorities in central Russia's Vladimir region recently took down a prison wall that featured a commemoration of Lithuanian archbishop Mecislovas Reinys and other foreigners who were imprisoned as part of Josef Stalin's Great Terror.  Reinys died in prison in 1953 after being arrested by Stalin's secret police six years earlier.
