Dallas Cowboys re-sign Kellen Moore to serve as backup

FRISCO, Texas (KBOI) — Kellen Moore is staying in Texas.
On Monday, the Dallas Cowboys announced on the team's website that the former Boise State quarterback will remain with the team to play behind starter Dak Prescott.
Moore has appeared in three games for Dallas, including two starts in 2015. He likely could have been the week one starter last season for injured quarterback Tony Romo, however, Moore broke his ankle and spent the season on the injured reserve list.
The website says terms of the deal were not released.
